The Long Gallery at Ettington Park is a truly unique and you certainly know that you are in the beautiful venue. Many people have commented that it looks like the bottom of an upside down boat. It has 6 beautiful window alcoves which look out over the hotel grounds.
Samina and Dan had chosen both a first dance for themselves and then opted for a second song so that people could join them on the dance floor. There were also a number of dedications which we made through the evening to both friends and family of the happy couple. In addition to the dedications we had about 20 or so requests to be played when appropriate during the evening we gave us a great indication of the types of music which the Bride and Groom wanted to be played. All of the requests we made via our on line planning and music request site which has proven extremely popular.
As with most weddings everything was over running slightly and we got into the function room about 20 minutes after we had initially thought, but as Samina and Dan had opted for our standard disco we had this installed within 30 minutes so got the evening back on track. The dance floor was full almost all night with just a quite break at around 10pm for the evening buffet. This gave everyone a chance to grab a drink and recharge and then non-stop dancing till the end of the evening at 12 midnight. We ended the night at the Bride and Grooms request with Frank Sinatra's Theme From New York New York
