40th Birthday - Marquee Nr Stratford Upon Avon

This 40th Birthday party was originally planned for December 18th 2010, but on the morning of the function there was a huge snow storm. We were determined that we would get to the venue to ensure that we could keep the party going. But half way to the marquee we got the call saying it had to be postponed. It is alwyas very sad when this happens but also felt it was the right thing as the roads we very dangerous.
Anyway, it was resceduled for March 5th 2011 a few months after Justines Birthday but everyone was certainly ready for a good time. WE had to set up an outdoor PA system, a secondary system in a chill out area, a huge disco set up which included a sound and lighting sytem for a singer. When guest arrived they were greated by fire jugglers with background music to accompany them. With there welcome drinks in hand it was time to go out side and watch the fire works (to music hence the out door speakers) after this it was time to go back inside and take a seat whilst the Irish Dancers took to the stage and the table magician went round entertaining people.
The food was then survered whilst glow dancers took to the stage and dance floor, at around 10pm Jamie "Afro" Archer from Xfactor entered the marquee, took to the stage for a fantastic 30 minute set. Half on acoustic guitar and half to backing tracks. After his set he did a meet and greet whilst we announced some special dedications to people who were special to the birthday girl. The casino has also opened up at the point and it was time to party. There was a huge assortment of music but it was old skool 90s dance music which really hit the spot. We finished DJing at around 4.30am. Another very rewarding night and very happy customers.
